How it all began....tattoos and bedtime prayers.

One night after I had said goodnight and done nightly prayers and blessing with our daughter, she called me back into her room and said, "I have a question but I'm not sure how to ask this....".  As a mom of preteen / teenage kids my first thought was uh oh....what is she going to ask me. A few key topics crossed my mind quickly like: boys, sex, body changes, something she had seen on tik tok...Jesus take the wheel, here we go!  Then she said, "I really want to share the Gospel but I don't know how."  Whoa....not what I expected but dang, was I proud of her.  My heart swelled, we hugged and then talked about what ideas she had.  One idea was painting rocks with bible verses and placing them around our neighborhood. She did this with some friends and again, I was so proud of her for seeing this through.  Around this time I had also toyed with the idea of starting an online store to share faith based tshirts, hats, mugs, etc.  Long story short, Three Hearts Life was created as a way to not only sell cute faith inspired creations but a movement of living a life filled with the love of the Father, the grace of the Son and the peace of the Holy Spirit....aka, the "Three Hearts".

The design of the three hearts was inspired by my first (and only) tattoo.  For years I had said IF I got a tattoo it would have to reflect my faith.  For the design, I worked to create three interconnected hearts made with one solid line only broken by a cross (see photo for my very rough sketch).  Because the cross changed EVERYTHING yet, we still need to know all three: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  To live the "Three Hearts Life" means we are centered on the love of God, guided by the teaching and grace of the Son (Jesus) and seeking the guidance and peace of the Holy Spirit.

Thanks for checking us out and reading our story.  We believe that changed hearts can change the world...so, everything we create at Three Hearts is meant to share a message of love, grace, peace, a little humor from time to time and inspire a movement to more Three Hearts Living!
